Sunday, September 8, is once again the time for Open Monument Day. This annual event offers you the chance to dive into our rich history and gives you access to more than 800 monuments normally closed to the public. During this 36th edition, with the theme "En route!", the focus is on how people and ideas have moved through time, along ancient routes by land, rail or water. This year, Open Monument Day invites you to literally and figuratively go on the road and discover the stories of monuments along the way.
