Inventory of small religious heritage
In 2022 - 2023 a lot of volunteers, led by Erfgoed Noorderkempen, made an inventory of all the chapels in Merksplas.

Themaroutes
Tourism Merksplas vzw made a bicycle loop of about 30 km that connects the 'kapellekes op den buiten'. In the month of May 2023 the complete cycle route is signposted.
