The Forest of Sounds

The Sound Forest is a physical place: a park in Pelt with eighteen physical and virtual sound installations. Some are there temporarily, others permanently. Because of its size and accessibility, this collection is unique in Europe. The Klankenbos inspires young and old to consciously experience sound and environment.

The Klankenbos is an open-air museum without beginning or end, there is no signposted walk. Through the various entrances you can determine your own route.

There is plenty to do around Het Klankenbos. You can have a guided tour and there are many interesting activities for children and young people. Just think of Musical Treasures Tour, From twig to forest concert, and The secret of Tandroor. Via ErfgoedApp you can discover all the sound installations in an (inter)active way.
