From Sunday, April 21, 2024, you'd better stay home, because that's the theme of Heritage Day this year! Dive into Berlare's history with the digital heritage tour and the Uhoe heritage game.

Baron Tibbaut, Emiel Hertecant, Pastor Penne, Pastor Christiaens, ... Familiar figures for those who live in Berlare. Or are they not? Who were all these people and what did they do that a street was named after them in our municipality?

You also get to know Oehoe, the cheerful mascot of the ErfgoedApp, specially designed for children aged 6 to 11. The little owl appears whenever there is a task to fulfill.

Starting Wednesday, April 17, you can pick up your assignment booklet at Cultuurhuis Stroming or Onthaalpoort Donkmeer. A great opportunity to get to know the municipality in a different way and bring history to life! Have you completed the booklet? Then bring it back to Cultuurhuis Stroming and win a nice medal!
