Tour of Donk Lake

Valve is a real cycling tourist and your guide on duty. He cycles with you and tells you all about what you can see: the Donkmeer, the duck decoy, Nieuwdonk, peat pits and nature. But every now and then he doesn't quite know and needs your help. Will you solve the riddles and puzzles as a family? Then you will reach the ultimate goal. Then the most beautiful meanders of the Scheldt in the Geopark Scheldt Delta will have no more secrets for you.

- The tour is about 10 km and takes +/- 2 hours.
- There are 15 stops where you will get to see a movie.
- At 11 locations you will also get an assignment. The assignments are a variation of doing assignments, solving riddles and using the senses.
- Start location : Onthaalpoort Donkmeer, Donklaan 123 Berlare, near A. Nelenpad
- Bike rental possible (052432560, toerisme@berlare.be, https://www.berlare.be/toerisme)
- You will borrow a waterproof backpack with material you will need to solve the assignments (including 1 cell phone holder for on the bike).
- Provide your own: water, a snack and a packed lunch.
- You can leave at 2:30 p.m. at the latest.
- Public toilets along the route are accessible at the Onthaalpoort and at the Provincial Domain Nieuwdonk (during opening hours)
