Tienen during WWII - for adults

On the morning of May 10, 1940, the inhabitants of Tienen and boroughs are brutally awakened from their sleep. The German army invades Belgium. German planes bombard the city and Goetsenhoven airfield.

This audio walk leads you through several episodes of World War II in Tienen. The compelling narration is interwoven with diary fragments of Jan Wauters. He was a hairdresser, carillonneur and city archivist in 1940.
