Everyone to the sea! Holiday camps in Koksijde and Nieuwpoort

The holiday camps were a fixture on the Belgian coast for a hundred years. Many people still remember their stay vividly. Maybe you too?
From the end of the nineteenth century, charities sent children to the sea. The weak and sick children gained strength in the healthy open air, far away from the industrial cities.
This bike tour takes you along fifteen holiday homes in Koksijde, Oostduinkerke and Nieuwpoort. Discover their story.
