Music heritage walk through Antwerp

Music heritage walk through Antwerp

Stadsklanken is a heritage walk that guides you past places that played an important role in the musical history of the city of Antwerp. Some have retained their original state, such as the iconic building of the Flemish Opera. Others have become completely unrecognizable: did you know, for example, that the conservatory used to be located at Sint-Jacobsmarkt? Via your smartphone, you get explanations, historical photos and sound clips for each point, all carefully collected by our experts. This way you can enjoy a walk through the center of Antwerp, while being surprised by the rich music history of the city.
