At the Regional Archaeological Museum, discover the past ... from under your feet. Based on archaeological finds from the Meuse and Bosbeek valleys, you will travel from prehistory, to the Stone, Iron and Bronze Age, the Gallo-Roman period and the Middle Ages, to end in the modern age.
The archaeological finds tell us something about how people in this region lived throughout time: What did they eat? What clothes did they wear? How did they fill their day? And ... what conditions did they live in?
The theme of Heritage Day this year is "home. Dive into the RAM into the past of habitation: what did the home of hunter-gatherers look like? And that of the first farmers? What was the influence of the Romans? And has so much actually changed over time? Discover answers to these questions with the Erfgoedapp in this short, digital time travel through the museum!
