On the Road with Mary

The Weg-Om is one of the oldest processional roads in the country, connecting several chapels in the center of Halle and the fields just outside of town. A beautiful hike that definitely belongs on your bucket list! The trail, which is about 5 km long, takes you past numerous chapels, crucifixes and wall niches that still attract visitors every year today. Wander through the charming city center, enjoy the nature of the Pajottenland and learn about Halle's historical roots as a place of pilgrimage.
