Bunker walk in Dessel

Gilbert Funiere, who fought battle in Dessel as a sergeant, takes you along bunkers and trenches along the Dessel-Schoten Canal. Using historical locations and objects, he tells about the German invasion and the May Days of 1940.

This interactive walk is aimed at children between 10 and 13 years of age. They can take this tour on their own, with the family or with the class. Participants can obtain a free educational brochure at the Sas4 Tower visitor center, the starting point of the walk.
