Story walk: The Alken mammoth truth, legend or urban legend?

This walk of 4.3 km takes you along some historical places in Alken and introduces you to a lot of nice stories of this village, situated in Haspengouw. The tour starts at the Vrije Basisschool 't Laantje and ends at the Sint-Aldegondiskerk.

This walk was made possible with the support of Erfgoed Haspengouw and was developed and organized by the parents' council of the Vrije Basisschool 't Laantje.
The stories came to life thanks to the Alken historical circle and the Zoe was Alleke museum.
