In 1924, painter Jean Brusselmans settled permanently in Dilbeek. For the Dilbeek Cultural Platform, this was a wonderful opportunity to establish a working group: '100 years of Jean Brusselmans in Dilbeek'. The working group designed a 4.5 km walk along eight panels with reproductions of Brusselmans'

Op 10 mei 1940 viel nazi-Duitsland België binnen. Achttien dagen later capituleerde Koning Leopold III, terwijl zijn troepen zich nog steeds dapper verdedigden op de slagvelden.
