It is no coincidence that the Damse polder landscape has been recognized by Flanders as part of the Zwinstreek Landscape Park and by UNESCO as a unique geological site within the Scheldt Delta Geopark. In this landscape, we can still find many traces of forts, lines of defense, and fortifications, which we collectively refer to as the State-Spanish Lines.

Wolfrot is a surprising piece of landscape located between the Asphaltcosite, Mollem industrial zone, and the center of Kobbegem. Here you will find fields with beautiful views, fragrant wooded edges, orchards, old farms, a castle estate, and small woods along the stream. A signposted walk opens up this green area via a signposted walking loop, a brochure, and the erfgoedapp.
