From February 18 to 26, the eleventh edition of Krokuskriebels will take place. More than 90 museums in Flanders and Brussels invite families with children up to 14 years old during the crocus vacation. Krokuskriebels provides a fun and active get-together for the whole family through numerous family-sized activities. This edition of Krokuskriebels focuses on families with children with disabilities. We dove into the program and discovered seven cool ErfgoedApp-tours:

IN SEARCH OF THE SULTAN'S DIAMOND
Joni and Basil's mom found a mysterious bill in Train World: "This museum is hiding 1 thing. It is in a chest and the code is missing. Be blinded by the diamond and luck will find you."
FAMILY SEARCH VGT: THE MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE OF HENDRIK ALIJN.
Oh no! Henry, the little ghost of the House of Alijn, has disappeared. His best friend Puss can no longer find him anywhere. A mystery! What could have happened? Puss is desperate and is looking for help.
BELVUE - ON THE ROAD WITH ZENO - VGT
ZENO traveled through Belgium with his van. Of his discoveries, he made short videos. But oops, his license plate is illegible. That's not ok! Do you want to complete it again? Ask for your ZENO game card at the museum entrance and go investigate.
IN SEARCH OF THE GOLDEN JAGUAR
The neighbor of Lasse, Brasil and Nina found a mysterious bill in the MAS: "This museum is hiding 1 thing. It's in a chest and the code is missing. Are you there? Then stare into the eyes of the jaguar."
THERE'S A SMELL TO THAT
sleuths wanted! You have one hour to dismantle a stink bomb in museum Texture. If the mission fails, all of Kortrijk will be bathed in the stench of yesteryear. Quick, close your nose and go! Do I smell victory already?
WHAT IF POOR BEGUINES WERE SUDDENLY RICH?
After years, even centuries, Father Mermans' money chest has suddenly appeared. The beguines begin to dream of luxury, but need the code of the lock. Will you join us in searching each room for the numbers, with the Erfgoedapp?
WEAPONS & ARMOR
The War Heritage Institute is looking for young squires who have ambition to become knights. Join our digi-knight at erfgoedapp and find out how armor and weapons evolved over the centuries

Collaboration with Bednet

For those who cannot go to the museum, there is a fun digital alternative in collaboration with Bednet. During corona, educational staff worked on a digital translation of the museum offerings. For example, families with children who are long-term sick can still participate in Krokuskriebels. You can also consult the digital activity(s) via krokuskriebels.be.
