The devastated region

On this heritage walk, you’ll discover the history of the village of Woesten between 1914 and 1918. You’ll pass by both visible and faded traces of the village’s wartime past.
The walk is an initiative of the Poperinge-Vleteren Intermunicipal Archives, in collaboration with the Vleteren Tourism Office and the volunteers of “Westhoek verbeeldt.”
