In the footsteps of the (disappeared) tram
In the past, you could take the tram toward Ghent from Tramplein. Today, trams have disappeared from the streets of Oosterzele. Or have they? If you look closely, there are more traces to discover than you might think.
Please note: the walk goes through a section of the floodplain. The path is unpaved and may be muddy. It is therefore not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Please wear appropriate footwear. There is an alternative route by following Kasteelstraat to Moortselestraat. From the station, you can rejoin the walk.
