Walk against poverty

Join us on a walk against poverty and discover interesting locations in Leuven that shed light on poverty, both past and present. The audio clips are narrated by one of the volunteers from the Leuven Collective Against Poverty. She’ll guide you along the way. Through a variety of facts and insights, you’ll learn about the history and current realities of poverty in Leuven. This gives you a moment to reflect on the fact that life doesn’t go smoothly for everyone.

This walk was organized by the Leuven Collective Against Poverty in collaboration with the Leuven Heritage Unit and the Leuven City Archives as part of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on October 17, 2021.
