Jews in the city - Molenbeek
This walk is presented by the Jewish Museum of Belgium.
The route you are about to follow retraces the journeys of men and women caught up in the turmoil of World War II. Among the cruel acts of the Moirai recounted here are the stories of individuals from every social class, of all origins and faiths, including Jewish. These individual stories bear witness to the various waves of migration, including Jewish migration, that Brussels—and Belgium more broadly—has experienced. Through the lens of these stories, we invite you to discover the cosmopolitanism and multi-ethnicity of Brussels.
