The Wezel of Yesteryear Tour

Everyone, including those with limited mobility, can enjoy this beautiful tour through the history of Wezel. Participating is very easy. You can do it on foot, by bike, by car, or...

This tour consists of two parts: a long route and a short route. You can choose which tour you’d prefer to follow. Or you can simply try both!

The extended route is about 17 kilometers long and is best covered by bike or car. This tour includes 22 points of interest, which are shown in the correct order (numbered from 1 to 22) on the map.

You can also opt for the shortened route, which is easy to cover on foot. The short route is about 7 kilometers long and includes 14 points of interest. This shortened route is also marked on the map with green, continuous lines. If you follow the indicated route, you can walk safely and peacefully everywhere.

The Wezel-van-Toen Tour extends beyond both the Balen and Mol municipal boundaries. At each location, you’ll also find a sign indicating the exact spot where something once stood.
