Four centuries later, the historic Ter Doest Abbey site comes back to life during Open Monument Day 2022. To mark this occasion, the Heritage Department of the Province of West Flanders has developed a heritage walk in Lissewege to expand on Westtoer’s existing “Ter Doest Walking Route.” We’d love to introduce you to the fascinating history of Ter Doest and all the other wonderful things Lissewege has to offer.
