With Pino through Meulenberg

During this walk, you’ll learn more about the lives of two children who grew up in the Meulenberg neighborhood during the mine’s heyday. They’ll take you to all the places that were important to them in their youth. First, there’s Vic. A sociable, enthusiastic boy with many hobbies, he’s the son of a mining engineer and is enjoying his childhood to the fullest. Then there’s Tourya, a shy girl, but one who truly savors life quietly. She was born in Morocco, but by now knows Meulenberg like the back of her hand. With the help of Pino the canary, they’ll guide you through the neighborhood.
