Hopasten in Dilbeek. Between heaven and hell

In the past, hop cultivation and Dilbeek were inextricably linked. Although it’s no longer as visible in our streetscape, clear traces of it can still be found. Thanks to this walk, you can now discover the hop sheds—you know, those small buildings where hops were dried—for yourself. After all, the walk takes you past all the hop sheds and fields that Sint-Martens-Bodegem and Sint-Ulriks-Kapelle have to offer. The interactive material also allows you to discover the interior, the operation, and the architectural variations of the Dilbeek hop sheds without actually stepping inside*. Handy, isn’t it?
