In a city like Bruges, there’s plenty to say about animals. Much of the city’s trade and industry revolves around animals, and you’ll see depictions of various animals on numerous buildings. During this walk, we’ll take you on a tour through the heart of Bruges, with animals as our guiding thread. Be amazed by well-known and lesser-known stories about animals and monuments, and about Bruges.

This walk is an initiative of the City of Bruges’ Heritage Conservation Department, in connection with Heritage Day 2023, with the theme “Beastly!”
