Art Center Hugo Voeten is a unique landmark located in the heart of the green Campine region. The building was once a grain mill and now houses an eclectic art collection. After years of vacancy and decay, collector Hugo Voeten (1940–2017) acquired the derelict property in 2005. In collaboration with Belgian architects Wouter Bastijns and Barent Bulcke, he initiated a thorough renovation that respected the heritage and original industrial architecture. Since 2012, visitors have been able to explore a selection of approximately 700 artworks that are permanently on display at this venue.
