100 years of Beeusaert

On this multimedia audio tour, you’ll discover the story of Deinze’s iconic toy factory from the 20th century as you walk or cycle. During this tour, you’ll pass by several locations in the center of Deinze, where a fictional narrator will explain the production process of the toy horses. Although the range of toy products expanded over time, NB remains primarily associated with the production of toy horses.

Much of the information in this heritage walk was found in Luc Van Wanzeele’s book “Nazaire Beeusaert Toys: History of a Toy Factory,” which includes both photos and historical information. In addition, the Van Assche family also provided a number of photos. Thank you for that!
