In the footsteps of Van Gogh

In the footsteps of Van Gogh

In 1879, Vincent van Gogh made a walking trip from the Borinage to the Flemish Ardennes. He walked for three days to speak with Reverend Pieterszen about faith and art. The story has gotten somewhat lost in the folds of history, but you can rediscover it here in 10 audio clips set against the rolling landscape of the Flemish Ardennes. Text by Lander Deweer.

The route follows the Van Gogh Walking Trail.
