AfricaMuseum - Temporary exhibition: Unrivaled art

The exhibition focuses on art history. The large display cases showcase an important collection of masks, statues, ivory carvings, and applied arts. Almost all of the pieces come from the Congo and date primarily from the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.

The other display cases address specific issues, such as the notion of beauty in Africa, the European view of African artworks, the identity of the artist, or the analysis of styles.
