Today, you’ll be taken on a journey through medieval Bruges via an interactive walking tour in the ErfgoedApp FARO).
Anselm Adornes will guide you around Bruges, highlighting the important and unique sites from the city’s golden age of trade. He’ll provide detailed explanations at each location. The tour combines fun and information tied to current events. There are eleven different locations spread throughout Bruges. After about two hours, you’ll know a lot more about Bruges’ golden age.

Start the tour and click on ‘City Archives (BEGIN)’; that’s where the tour will start. Go to the next slide by clicking on the screen. To go back, press the arrow. At the end of each stop, you’ll get directions to head to the next location. When you are in the vicinity, the next location will appear under 'nearby'.

This tour was created by the City Archives and Heritage Unit and is a revised version of the educational package 'Adornes Achterna', which was first launched in 2005.
