Wonderful Vosselaar

Wonderful Vosselaar

Vosselaar is a charming village in the Antwerp Kempen region. Miracles have occurred here, amazing stories have unfolded, and architectural gems have been built. This walk takes you past 8 special heritage sites and provides information in a fun and engaging way.

The route was mapped out for Open Monument Day 2023 as part of “Paving the Way Between Antwerp and Turnhout,” a project exploring the heart and soul of the Antwerp highway—Turnhoutsebaan. That is why Mariapark was chosen as the starting and ending point of this walk: a green oasis between the Antwerp highway and the center of Vosselaar. Over the past century, thousands of pilgrims have been able to find peace here and unburden their hearts in the shade of majestic trees.

After Open Monument Day '23, this walk will remain permanently accessible via the ErfgoedApp.

If the tour does not start automatically after opening, tap the bottom of the four circles, the red one with the map icon. If necessary, zoom in on the red numbered squares and then tap square 1.

We hope you enjoy this wonderful walk!
