At the Regional Archaeological Museum, you’ll discover the past… right beneath your feet. Through archaeological finds from the Meuse and Bosbeek valleys, you’ll journey from prehistory through the Stone, Iron, and Bronze Ages, the Gallo-Roman period, and the Middle Ages, ending in modern times.

The archaeological finds tell us something about how people in this region lived throughout the ages: What did they eat? What clothes did they wear? How did they spend their days? And… what were their living conditions like?

The theme of Heritage Day this year is ‘home’. Dive into the past of human habitation at the RAM: what did the dwellings of hunter-gatherers look like? And those of the first farmers? What was the influence of the Romans? And has much really changed over time? Discover Erfgoedapp answers to these questions with the Erfgoedapp in this short, digital journey through time across the museum!
