DIVA is located in a district where silversmiths and jewelers have lived, worked, and sold their products for more than 500 years. It was in these very streets that Antwerp built its reputation as a world center for diamonds and silversmithing.

But how did the city achieve this?

In this audio walk, Helen Gallagher takes you along on her quest to uncover the roots of Antwerp as the world’s diamond capital. At 12 locations throughout the city, she will share the hidden stories spanning the 16th to the 21st century and will stop by some contemporary jewelers.
