Franciscan walk

This 3-kilometer walk is ideal for those who prefer a short stroll but still want to learn about the history of Vaalbeek.
You’ll learn more about the historical significance of the Chapel of Mary Magdalene and the influence of the Franciscan monastery and the Franciscan Fathers’ training and retreat center, La Foresta (1951–2019).
The story of Vaalbeek and the Groenendaal Farm will no longer be a mystery after this walk.
