On the road in time and space between Poesele, Vinkt and Meigem

During the early days of World War II, the communities of Vinkt, Meigem and Poesele were intense battle zones that claimed many victims along both the German and our sides.
Meanwhile, we are 85 years later and have been able to distance ourselves from the events both in time and space. How the community deals with such trauma is different from village to village. We take you along 3 locations that played a crucial role during these May days. But where many positive things have arisen since then.

Reallocation of locations by a changing society, creates many challenges. Goed ten Briele (the 4th location during this tour) shows in a beautiful way that tabula rasa about modern building techniques is not a must for the preservation of heritage values. A unique story!
