Heroes Walk WWI and WWII

In Ingelmunster, too, many residents joined the resistance against the occupying forces during both world wars. They made their voices heard and took action against oppression. On this walk, you’ll discover stories of courage and resistance. These are just a few examples, as many residents of Ingelmunster fought for freedom and demonstrated true heroism. We therefore pay tribute to all the heroes of both wars. Their deeds show how a small community can be great—then and now.
