Louis Neefs walk

Welcome to Gierle, the birthplace of Louis Neefs.
Gierle is one of the four villages of Lille. Situated between the cities of Turnhout and Herentals, it has always kept its village character.
Louis was born in the shadow of the church on August 8, 1937.
During this walk, we take you through his childhood in Gierle and some highlights of his further career, through sound fragments and unique footage.
