Welcome to Gierle, the birthplace of Louis Neefs.
Gierle is one of the four villages that make up Lille. Located between the cities of Turnhout and Herentals, it has always retained its village character.
In the shadow of the church, Louis was born on August 8, 1937.
During this walk, we’ll take you through his childhood in Gierle and some highlights of his later career, using audio clips and unique visual material.
