Experience Saint Lawrence

"Experience Sint-Laureins" immerses you in the rich history of this former peat-digging village. You’ll learn all about Pronkenburg, Gouvernementstraat, and the processions that took place there in the 1950s and 1960s. The history of several cafés is covered, as well as that of the church, the boys’ school, and the girls’ school. Antonia Van Damme played an important role in Sint-Laureins.
