Sint-Laureins, or Sente as they call it here, is best known for its monumental House of God that you can see looming from afar. For the rest, the polder village seems somewhat sleepy at first glance. A few restaurants, a café, a bakery, a convenience store.... Not exactly a bustling metropolis. But make no mistake, beneath this calm surface lies a wealth of history. And we like to highlight it on our walk!
