Reveil 2020

In this uncertain corona period, a creative solution has been found for Reveil: a walk that everyone can experience in their own bubble. The narrations and musical performances by Stijn Tondeleir and Bram Van Den Berghe are wrapped in atmospheric film clips. Everything is beautifully talked together by Geertrui.
The deceased we are highlighting this year:
- Désy Cordonnier ( of the hosiery factory)
- Jules Heylen, police commissioner at the time of the theft of the Just Judges
- 3 soldiers who died on the first day of WWII: Hendrik Clapdorp, Jozef Famelaer and Maurits Oosterlinck
- Berthe Hantson (violinist and wife of the brewer Meghanck).
The Reveil walk also passes by the corona monument on the waterfront.
