Out and about with Kamiel

With this multimedia bicycle tour you will discover the rich industrial past of Deinze and its surroundings. Today, the landscape of the Leieregio still breathes the industrial bloom of the 19th and 20th centuries. During this bicycle tour you will pass by old beluga houses and factory buildings, as well as rural Leie villages and a grain distillery. At each stop, a fictional narrator named Kamiel tells his story to this rich history. A history of workers and farmers, of toys and gin, but also of prosperity and decay.
