The Leuven Annals

On this walk, you will learn about Jaartallenleven, a unique phenomenon in Leuven whereby men and women aged 40 come together on the road to their 50th birthday. UNESCO has even included Jaartallenleven in its list of intangible cultural heritage. Marc Juchtmans, a member of the Men of 55, will take you on a tour of 10 locations. As the icing on the cake, he will tell you some juicy stories in the Leuven dialect.

This walk is a collaboration between the Royal Association of Jaartallen, the Female Jaartallen, the Academy of Leuven, and the Leuven Heritage Cell.
