Experience Open Monument Day in style

On Sunday, September 14, it is again time for Open Monument Day. Then hundreds of monuments in Flanders open their doors to the general public. During this edition, everything revolves around "In Style": an invitation to discover the wealth of architectural styles and their creators.

Visitors can expect walks, tours, bike rides and unique experiences that highlight the diversity of our built heritage. Whether you love historical details or modernist lines, there is something for everyone, and as always, absolutely free.

A day in style
On September 14, 2025, the 37th edition of Open Monument Day will take place. This year's theme is "In Style!" with a focus on architectural heritage. From baroque to art deco, neo-Gothic to modernism: the diversity of styles and stories is great. With more than 1,100 activities spread across Flanders, there is something for everyone to discover, close to home and completely free.
