Dadizele Heritage Trail

Dadizele (part of the municipality of Moorslede) has a rich history and therefore boasts a wealth of heritage. Just think of the numerous chapels in the pilgrimage town of Dadizele. But the British cemetery and the history of General Van Der Mersch are also featured. There are no fewer than 20 heritage signs throughout the municipality, marking out a 10.3 km route. This starts at the Basilica of Our Lady in Dadizele.

Stone Church Expedition Groot-Loon

Since Roman times, Haspengouw has been building with stone: natural stone and brick. These Roman building materials are still around today. We discover them being reused in the Romanesque tower of St. Servatius Church in Groot-Loon, Tongeren-Borgloon. During this Stone Expedition, we will search for different types of stone in and around the church grounds.
