Landscapes Koekelare - Het Lint

This experiential tour through Koekelare's war history and landscape can be done at your own pace and by your own means, by foot, bicycle or car. The route forms a 'ribbon' through the municipality, from the German military cemetery in Vladslo to the Lange Max Museum. You will be taken along 11 locations that played an important role in the German presence in our region. At each location you will find more explanation on signs and in the ErfgoedApp. Hundreds of yellow ribbons along the way will guide you along the right path, referring to the song "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree."

Among other things, there are two new works of art along the trail as well as the uncovering of the German practice trench set in Koekelarebos.
