Listening Tour Art Center Hugo Voeten

Use the yellow button to scan gray, square signs with a speaker in the room. Always take a close-up of the letter or number on the sign: only then will the info appear. Use your own earphones or turn down the volume so as not to disturb other visitors. During this listening tour you will mainly discover the history, heritage and architecture of the building.
Art Center Hugo Voeten is a unique location in the green heart of the Kempen region. The industrial architecture betrays that this place was once a grain factory. Thanks to a magnificent renovation by architects Wouter Bastijns and Barent Bulcke, the complex today houses the private collection of entrepreneur Hugo Voeten (1940-2017). He was a passionate art collector with eclectic tastes. His collection includes pearls of modern and contemporary art with works by Panamarenko, Frans Masereel, LΓ©on Spilliaert, Ciprian MureΕan, Thierry De Cordier, Chiharu Shiota and MarlΓ¨ne Dumas, among others.
