Team Beleven maakt ook dit jaar gebruik van de Erfgoedapp om een educatieve, interactieve poëzieworkshop te creëren die digitale vaardigheden en leesbevordering stimuleert. Join us on a relaxing and educational walk past buildings and monuments with a rich history. Along the way, you will learn about their historical and cultural significance, supported by old images and short stories. At various stops, we will show you historical photos and maps that highlight the contrast between the past and the present.

In 2022, the European theme of sustainability will be central to Open Monument Day, and 2022 is also the year of glass. Following a mapped-out cycling route, you can visit numerous heritage sites in Merelbeke that are linked by these two themes. Municipal employees and volunteers
