Liksems: cycling route Karel Van Lerberghe
Front painter Karel Van Lerberghe, together with some fellow artists, brings the Front Landscape to life with fine works of art and stories. This happens in the expo LIKSEMS (Markt Diksmuide) and along this route. On the route - which this Flemish artist also traveled - you will come across monuments or "scars" that remind us of this period. Follow the cycling nodes below to relive the landscape from that perspective. There are a lot of numbers on your cycling map: some indicate where there are info signs with detailed information, others give you extra explanation via the app.
