200 Years of Urban Education - Bike Ride Deurne

This bicycle tour in honor of the 200th anniversary of Stedelijk Onderwijs Antwerpen passes 12 sites in Deurne-Noord and Deurne-Zuid. The tour tells the history of Municipal Education in this Antwerp district. The thread of the tour is the way in which the Municipal - and after 1983 - Urban Education adapted to a Deurne that changed from a small rural municipality to a densely populated and later super-diverse urban district.

The bicycle route is about 12 km long and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
